What do you do when your boss tells you, "I'm gonna post your job on Friday.  I'm moving in a different direction."?  You fire the boss and go "jobless".  

That is exactly what Dr. Diana did in 2016.

 

Dr. Diana S. Gray is known to be serial The PassionPreneur Influencer, a passionate business owner who understands entrepreneurship. She created her first business, Arts In Motion, Incorporated, now known as Montgomery Arts Academy, in March 2006. With this business, Dr. Diana has served hundreds of families and partnered with several non-profit organizations and other businesses that promotes music education for young people. After experiencing the aftermath of the Great Recession of 2008, Dr. Diana began to network with other women in business and collaborate new business ideas and best practices. She created the PassionPreneur Club so that women can connect and become engaged in business topics and training. In addition, women gather to have conversations to gain knowledge and become equipped with tools to enhance their quality of life and contribute to the realization of dreams and aspirations. Dr. Diana is compassionate to the mission of women entrepreneurs’ advancement.

As an Executive Coach, also as an Organizational Development Practitioner, Dr. Diana's responsibility is to lead the planned change process within an organization. Through her leadership, she developments and creates an organizational wide effectiveness through challenging and changing its current practices.  Dr. Diana has experience with promoting effective change within churches, non-profit organizations, and private educational institutions.

 

Today, Dr. Diana is serves an Executive Director of the John Maxwell Team.  She is a certified professional speaker, leadership trainer, life, and executive coach. I'm also a certified DISC Personality Assessment Consultant through the John Maxwell Team. Dr. Diana loves helping others to elevate their mindset around their call to business and truly defining their unique purpose. Every person is not carbon copy of anyone. So, Dr. Diana believes that it is crucial to know who you are and what makes you unique. She help clients to stay true to their authentic identity while pursuing their dream of starting a business and serving their audience through the power of healthy connections.

Dr. Diana received her bachelor's degrees in Music Education and Church Music at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama. She continued her music education studies by completing a master’s degree in Music Education at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. Dr. Diana became very interested in curriculum and school administration and decided to advance her education career by completing another master’s degree in Instructional Leadership at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. Dr. Diana also holds an Education Specialist degree in School Administration and Leadership from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Her highest degree is a Doctorate of Education, specializing in Global Training and Development from Northcentral University of Phoenix, Arizona.

In addition to being committed to the field of education, Dr. Diana is heavily involved in enhancing the worship experience at her assigned church by serving as Minister of Music. Dr. Diana also serves as a worship leader coach to worship leaders in her community. She volunteers at Prattville Rehabilitation and Nursing Home (Prattville, Alabama) and Waterford Assisted Living Home (Montgomery, Alabama) as a music provider for special programs and concerts.

 

Dr. Diana is a member and leader of the Junior League of Montgomery, Project Manager Institute South Alabama Chapter, United States Minority Contractor, and is an active member of her beloved sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Beta Nu Omega Chapter. Dr. Diana is dedicated in participating in many outreach programs and community service events through these organizations.

Dr. Diana has a story to share to motivate others to be committed to a lifestyle of a PassionPreneur.  She illustrates the big shift to higher achievement and often parallel the implementation of business principles to the daily walk of faith as a Christian.  Her story reflects on the unforgettable moments of experiencing the series of interviews for a job promotion, a boss saying "I'm going to post your job...I'm moving in a different direction", and a student assaulting her all during the time frame of praying to God for a divine sign.  Her last prayer for a divine revolution came instantly and she received the message clearly.  She often reflects and says, 

 

"I finally made the decision to take the leap of FAITH.  I knew that God gave me the WORTH that my job did not want to value.  Today, I am a PassionPreneur Influencer who is BOLD, who BELIEVES, and who BUILDS a lifestyle of commitment while monetizing the passions which resides in my soul. Being a serial PassionPreneur Influencer is a Priority.  I now have Peace, Serenity, and Happiness in sharing my Passions with others."
